What are Parameters?
The 'Parameter' is where you can set the settings for the PLC or the Database. It controls settings for a station. Any changes here requires DGS Collector to be restarted before changes come into effect. The 'Parameter' is divided into 3 sections.
The 3 sections that are shown under Parameters are:
- General Settings
- Buttons
- Vendor
The Parameters have the following ToolBar :

Save | Use of this button saves all changes made to the Parameters. |

Cancel | Use of this button cancels all the changes made to the Parameters. |
The 3 sections under Parameters
General Settings
| Name | Description |
|---|---|
| Station Enabled | Used to Enable the Station to start and be enabled to perform operations. |
| Notes | Used to write notes related to that particular station. |
| Poll rate | Used to set the time interval between every read of data done by the PLC. |
| Poll Rate Fast | Used to set the manual delay between scan to read data from the PLC. |
| Final Read Delay | Used to set the delay rate for the final read operation at the end of every shift. |
| Shift End Read Protection | Used to set the break schedule for the shift that the PLC is running. |
| Schedule Type | Used to set the schedules for the shift that the PLC is running. |
Buttons
DGS has 5 programmable buttons for a station and 2 built in one that can be enabled - 'Read Current Button Enable'\ and 'Read Previous Button Enable'\
The first button in the image below is the Read Current Button Enable and the one on the right to it is the Read Previous Button Enable.
Also, users can additionally add 5 extra buttons for various other supported task.
Each button has the following options to be set:

| Enabled | Used to enable/disable the button. |
| Description | Description of the action performed by the button. |
| Icon | Used to set icon for the button using the dropdown box. |
Vendor
Vendors has no effect on collection just displays a logo when the station is selected in DGS Collector or DGS Manager.
